The World-Famous Hotel Del Coronado
The renowned Hotel Del Coronado holds court at the south end of the city. The Del, as it is lovingly known, is a National Historic Landmark dating back to 1888. Hotel visitors include some of the world’s icons, such as Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra. In addition, every sitting President since Lyndon Johnson has been a guest. With its distinctive red turrets and glamorous aura, the Hotel continues to attract tourists from around the world.
